Watchmen don't Mensch words:
The Superman? — Nothing could be deader,
Along with the Bat and the Spider.
The whole genre — absurd.
Truth, Justice, and the American Way®? — had its day.
After Nietzsche — "God is dead" — only heroes took His stead.
Now alone — all our heroes, we bemoan.
