Lovely Brita

Lovely Brita®
                        filter made

my insides so much fresher:
raining queen of the water pitcher;
nothing could be much cleaner.

But when her power
                        began to fade

I knew her reign was finally over

and it was time to replace her:
lovely Brita,
                        pitcher maid.

  5. Here's a treasure - poetry that makes you smile from out of no where. Sometimes we forget that side of poetry, what with all the unrequited love and sonnets about nature.

    A pleasure to read. )

  6. Not that there's anything wrong with love poems or poems about nature.

  7. Thanks for all the terrific comments. I think I'm too left-brained, or whatever, to write very many love or nature poems, so I'll take what comes :-)
