Something very organic about putting pen to paper rather than the clickety-clack of keys. There seems to be something of the person (spiritual perhaps) that gets lost when the keyboard is the conduit.
ReplyDeleteThis observational poem is fun to read and tells a tale of the times. I taught kindergarten a long time ago. I think the keyboard approach is of great benefit to some; but to those whose hand-movements stimulate brain movement, a direct link to release might be lost.

I don't miss cursive. Like so many of my peers, mine was almost unreadable--and I was a cop who had to take handwritten notes for years.
