Doxologies 2.0

play and sing along

Holy, holy, holy! Lord Net almighty!
Early in the morning our words shall post to Thee.
Holy, holy, holy, erudite and flighty!
Net in three Portals, bless-ed Trinity.

Praise Net, all creatures' daily posts;
Praise Net above, ye heav'nly hosts;
Praise Net, from where we make a fuss;
Praise Facebook, Twitt-er, Google Plus!

  1. I don't think I've ever seen such an apt parody before! Many people have replaced religion with this Blessed Trinity, and somehow society seems the poorer for it.

  2. Haha... cute one... and I agree with Kerry! Is that you playing the piano, Philip?

  3. This is fabulous and, as Kerry said, so apt.
    And the piano—it could be the choir director at my little church down the street playing for the (also little) congregation. Familiar music from times both present and gone. Familiar present lament "where we make a fuss" and hilarious "erudite and flighty"!
