Hikaru's Haikus

bridge: front-row seating;
all the real action's behind
(just my lucky day)

chekov: the playwright?
no, he just sits on my right
(we exchange glances)

photon torpedos?
would rather play with my sword
(you know what I mean)

helmsman's log: stardate
twenty-two sixty-nine — signed
lieutenant sulu

  3. Awesome. I just saw the new Trek and loved it. Now going back and rewatching the old episodes. I can just see Sulu writing haiku while the Enterprise is on autopilot.

  4. Thanks all.

    Note on hyperlinks: If you place the mouse over a word, like "bridge", a box will pop up as well with a brief definition. Here's the example code (change color and title as needed):

    <a style="text-decoration:none;" href="http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Bridge"><span style="color:#B2AD10;" title="The bridge is the starship equivalent of an operations center or command center and is generally located near the top and front of a vessel.">bridge</span></a>

  6. So Andy likes boxes, but Thrift's real action is elsewhere. What does Chekov like?
