rites of pass·age
When I pass age of barely twelve,
Into the confirmation rite I delve.
When I pass age of bold eighteen,
I write the SAT-essay for deans.
When I pass age of twenty-two,
I earn the right (with praise) to grad school zoo.
When I pass age of twenty-six,
I aim to be the wright of my own tricks.

When I pass the age of twelve
ReplyDeleteThrough church confirmation rites I delve
Before I pass age eighteen
At the SAT-essay write I'm seen
When I pass age twenty-two
I earn the right to a grad school zoo
When I pass age twenty-six
I am the wright of my own tricks
(terrible writer here, but I can edit/polish. Or at least I like to think so :P)
I actually had the "At the SAT-essay write I'm seen" or something like it before I edited it, but it didn't make any sense to me, but I wrote the essay for the admissions dean of the college, and that made sense.
ReplyDelete(OK, revised. Hope it's better.)
