Xism = belief in material stuff + (a particular) nonmaterial stuff X ("X" ≠ "Material")

Materialism = belief in material stuff (alone)

∴ Materialism < Xism

e.g. "X" = "The", "Spiritual", "Soul", "Mind", etc.

There is a tendency to want more than what is needed, and so Xs are created in the imagination alone.
